AEV Architectures studio was born from a multicultural background, led by two architects Woojin LIM from South Korea, Sylvie PIAT from France and an engineer, Hamid HANANE from Morocco. By their special interests and skills, the three associates enriched the field of their architectural conception. Indeed, Sylvie is fascinated by nature and the high environmental quality, Woojin is interested in materials and light while Hamid is invested in the reflection of structural and economic performance.
They pursue the development of projects with their international team and guest artists between Paris and Seoul, drawing on the inspiration of those different nationalities. Therefore, the projects are always impregnated by a transcultural dimension, to develop architectural concepts in “another” way to express spatial and sensual dimension.
AEV Architectures (Architectures Espaces à Vivre, Space to live in) is named from the will to design spaces close to human aspirations, also in symbiosis with the urban and social context by reaching ahead of environmental consciousness. Therefore, they are eager to innovate so that the projects remain in harmony with the simplicity of the space and its use.
